Wednesday Roundup

Today the draw for the Copa America is announced. Yesterday the South American federation tipped its hand by revealing that the United States is in Argentina's group. If you thought Mexico was a test, wait for that game. The other two groups so far feature Venezuela and Bolivia (Venezuela is the home team) and Brazil and Mexico. A third team will be added to each group today.

Bob Bradley has called the men's U-23 team into camp for training before playing Japan and a TBD team. Players on that team will all obviously hope to challenge for a 2010 World Cup spot. The ones to watch, I think, are Chris Seitz at keeper, Quavas Kirk at midfield, and forward Chad Barrett.
